Many studies have shown that engaging in music has so many benefits for our brains and our souls. Also, it is just fun to do. In connecting with music, the students will be learning about and playing music through different avenues. We will be learning how to experience music, read music, perform music and have fun with music with hands on activities, including playing instruments, composing, performing music, movement, singing and many other avenues. Psalm 33:1-3, "Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous, it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp, make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." I am looking forward to connecting with music with your kids.
