Description

A hand's-on 10 week unit study filled with information for all ages. Kindergarten and up.

Topics will include geography and maps, timeline of rulers/dynasties, Biblical references (Joseph, Israel's Exodus), Egyptian society, beliefs & ideas, Hieroglyphics, papyrus, mummification, art & pyramids, Pharaoh of the Exodus, Archaeological discoveries and more. Our last class time will be a (modern) Egyptian Feast - students will sign up to contribute items.

Students will work together in small lab groups, all supplies provided. There will be a Google doc able to be accessed by students with printable materials (not required) and extra reading and enrichment to do at home.
