Considering God's Creation

"Meet the Creator through His creation using games, experiments, poems, songs, arts and crafts projects, and notebook pages. We will carefully observe and investigate God's creation, while learning to question and test materials against the truth of scripture. Topics include: Creation, Universe, Stars, Solar System, Earth, Light, Sound, Wind, Weather, Clouds, Rocks, Plants, Insects, Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, Fish, Amphibians, Food Chains, Reproduction and Genetics, Human & Animal Anatomy/Physiology. This is just the beginning of studying science. Extra materials will be available if you wish to extend the lesson during the week at home, utilizing the Evolution Stumpers and Digging Deeper sections."

Age 2nd - 7th grades; Younger and older students may register on a case by case basis  If younger students have a command of scissors, glue, coloring, etc, and you may attend with them to give extra help, I welcome you! (Only registered student & parent may attend) Older students can be challenged with more activities during class as well as take home work if you desire to extend what we are learning in class.

Students will compile a 3 Ring binder, which you will need to provide. Glue or glue sticks, pen or pencil, crayons/colored pencils, scissors, index cards and a bible are all to be provided by the student and brought to class each week. All other materials and worksheets will be provided. Google Classroom will be utilized as a way to post materials and communicate with parents and students. Parents will also receive emails through the Jumbula platform.

Parents will take turns and volunteer throughout the year, signup sheets worked out before the first class period.
