Essential Nuclear Science, a class for students age 12 and older, is intended to introduce students to the field of nuclear science. There are no homework assignments or tests.

This nuclear science class is intended for students, ages 12 +,  who want to expand their knowledge of nuclear science.  The focus of the class is on ionizing radiation and nuclear energy topics. The accidents at Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and Fukushima nuclear power plants are also addressed.
