Dance Around the World (7-12 year olds)

People all around the world dance for celebrations, storytelling, exercise, and fun.  Join us in this global exploration of movement!  Dancers will feel accomplished to earn a stamp in their “Dancing Around the World” passport for each country we study.  Class will begin with a typical ballet-based warm up and technique work.  For the last part of each session, students will learn and enjoy traditional dances from around the world!  Participants will gain a strong foundation for dance, while enjoying classes that are exciting, inviting, and imaginative.  Come see why dancing is truly "all the things"!  This moving art form builds self-confidence, coordination, imagination, teamwork, flexibility, strength, and memory skills.  Your children's hearts, bodies, and minds will grow and flourish!
