In this class students will learn what worship is within a church context and in the student’s personal life. This class will teach students to live a life of worship that will reflect Christ to their community around them based on their words and actions (based on Colossians 3:17). We will explore this through reading authors Rory Noland and Matt Merker as well as exploring history of worship music up to today’s current music. Students will take what they learn and work together in groups to create a worship service and use their talents to lead a worship service at the end of the semester for family and friends. This class is a year long class.
