Theatre Acting and Performance

Got a Drama Queen or King in the House? Or maybe a shy star waiting to shine?
Either way, this 30 week class is their stage to thrive! Our Performance/Acting Class for teens (ages 13–17) is the ultimate launchpad for young performers—whether they were born in the spotlight or just need a little nudge to step into it. In this fun and confidence-building environment, students will sharpen their skills through audition coaching, drama games, improvisation, physical comedy, and foundational acting techniques.

The grand finale? A professional-quality production of The Servant of Two Masters—a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud Italian Renaissance comedy that’s as fun to perform as it is to watch.

To bring the show to life, students will need take part in at least two hands-on set build sessions, and families will join a kickoff meeting to sign up to help with essential roles such as concessions, sewing, ticket sales, set construction, and promotion.

Led by veteran director Diana Turner, who brings over 25 years of experience in youth theater and homeschool productions, this class is both educational and unforgettable. Students will receive grades, complete theatre term quizzes, and grow through line memorization and active participation.

Tech/Dress Rehearsal week and all performances are mandatory—because every star has their moment to shine!  Production Performance Dates (most likely)- April 18, 19, 25 and 26 in 2026.

The price for this course includes materials, with the exception of a few personal costume pieces that parents may be asked to purchase.
