Small Group Reading & Writing

This lively and welcoming small-group class is created for learners ages 6–10, offering a space where every child feels capable, encouraged, and supported as they grow in their reading skills. Rooted in Christian values, each session nurtures kindness, confidence, and a love for learning. Through a mix of teacher-led and student-led read-alouds, we’ll explore captivating stories together, strengthening fluency and comprehension. Show-and-tell gives children the chance to express themselves, while friendly puppets and “stuffy buddies” make each lesson even more enjoyable. The goal of this class is to help every young reader grow stronger, build confidence, and develop leadership skills—sharing stories, uplifting one another, and reflecting Christ-like character in a warm, faith-centered environment.
