We will be reading classics, discussing them, and writing about them. Expect a lot of reading because it is a great way to become educated and your child CAN do it! Our first book will be Animal Farm by George Orwell. Students will have some say in what books come next. Among their options will be classics such as: The Chosen by Chaim Potok, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
Parents / Students are responsible to obtain copies of each book.
No class on September 23 or October 7.
