This is a year-long course that spans throughout the entire academic year (14 classes in Fall 2024 and 16 classes in Spring 2025 semester). Registration confirms your student’s spot for the year-long course. Develop the skills of effective communication in your students using the tools of spelling and vocabulary. Each week, students will review new spelling lists, each arranged by Spelling Rule, Phonics Focus, Challenge Words, and Vocabulary Words. Additionally, we will work on writing activities that provide a review of learned concepts from each list. We will use Abeka Spelling, vocabulary and poetry-4 (revised edition) in this class. Students will need single lined paper in a binder or single-lined notebook to practice writing their spelling words.
