Beginning Sewing
10 weeks
Students must have their own sewing machine & basic tools. (Scissors, thread, machine needles & machine should be in good working order) Parents are encouraged to attend with your student. I will provide the sample fabrics, iron, ironing pads, marking pens & starch. We will begin with basics of cutting, seams, and work into a bit more complicated projects. There will be “homework” where students can practice at home and they will need to purchase their own fabrics for these projects. My hope is that we can even work on some quilt blocks and appliqué as we near the end of this ten weeks! Please contact Marsha if you have questions.

Participants must be 9 years and 11 months to 18 years old when the program starts.
