Reading is so boring. Or so they say... This is a 10 week class for ages 6-10 years old. In this class we will have times of picture book act outs, grownup read-alouds, and easy reading to our stuffed animal friends. The purpose of the class is to build strength and independence in the kids while encouraging them to keep moving forward in their reading journey. We will do this in fun ways no matter what the reading level or ability is currently. The kids and grownups in the class will learn how to be encouraging to others, promote growth in themselves and others as well as be positive in a negative world. Our goal by the end of the class is to be more confident in reading independently and out loud for a group. (A small group, so no worries, just fun!!) Participants must be 5 years and 11 months to 10 years and 1 month old when the program starts.
Registration starts on 12/10/2024 and ends on 01/27/2025.
