The colorful and fascinating history of New Mexico, this is a lecture class taught by a native with many years’ experience teaching the subject. Students will be expected to take notes and discuss, a textbook for weekly reading will be loaned to them, optional supplemental reading list and an optional semester project will be available if the students and parents wish to enhance their learning. A follow-up class will be offered in Spring covering more NM geography, culture, geology, civics, and current events.
