Learning FUNdamentals! - RR

Learning FUNdamentals- This is a 10 week class for ages 3-11 years old. I believe that learning happens best through play and positive encouragement. So, in this class, during the first half of the time we will have an early learning focus and will practice shapes, colors, numbers, letters with fun games, physical activities and read-alouds to build a love for reading, learning, and friendship. During the second half of the class we will focus on reading. We will have times of picture book act outs, grownup read-alouds, and easy reading to our stuffed animal friends. The purpose of the class is to build strength and independence in the kids while encouraging them to keep moving forward in their reading journey. We will do this in fun ways no matter what the reading level or ability is currently. The kids and grownups in the class will learn how to be encouraging to others, promote growth in themselves and others as well as be positive in a negative world. Our goal by the end of the class is to be more confident in reading independently and out loud for a group. (A small group, so no worries, just fun!!)
