Graphic Design and Marketing

A key to success in any field is the ability to stand out from the crowd and communicate a clear message. Especially for the biblically minded message. This is especially true in business, where a professional image and well-designed marketing materials can make all the difference. That's why I'm excited to offer a new class on graphic design and marketing. In this class, students will learn how to put together a professional-looking business design package for a conservative/biblical minded business, including a logo and design guide. They will communicate with the potential client and implement a design campaign from start to finish. 

They will also gain valuable entrepreneur skills that they can use to promote their own businesses and services. This class is a great opportunity for students to learn how to create a compelling brand identity and get a leg up in the competitive world of business, while at the same time being a benefit to other small businesses in their community.

1. Fundamentals of Affinity Designer Software
2. Understanding design balance
3. Utilizing white space in your design
4. Less is more - leveraging professional simplicity
5. How to effectively communicate with your client to find their business needs. 
6. Plus much more…

• This class is designed for students ~14/15 (9th grade-ish) and up through 12th grade, and for those that have an eye for graphic design or marketing. I will make exceptions on case by case basis. 
• Must be willing to work with computers to implement their design. 
• Must have an Apple computer (Desktop or Laptop). 
• Must download Affinity designer. 

This is not a "learn how to draw" class. I'm looking for those that have an eye for design and a desire to learn marketing and business. Ages are somewhat flexible depending on the skill level.
