A study of the judicial process
In this interactive class, students will identify criminal or civil defendants against which redress is pursued in the courtroom. Students will learn about the judicial process by engaging in opening statements, oral arguments, cross-examinations. Details of the case will be familiar to them from their favorite fairy tales. This class offers the opportunity to practice critical thinking, public speaking, drama, set building and costume design as well as learning courtroom procedure. Three-four different cases will give students the opportunity to play different roles.
