The history of the U.S. part 2, when the national government took control and changed the nature of America, 1865 to the present; this is a lecture class taught by a patriot, retired public school teacher, and army veteran. Students will be expected to take notes and discuss, optional supplemental reading list and an optional semester project will be available if the students and parents wish to enhance their learning. This is the second of two semester courses; covering history from 1865 to the present; the first class is not a prerequisite, but knowledge of early American history is helpful.
Students are encouraged to take Great Stories in American History, Part II as a literature supplement to this class.
