This is a year-long course that spans throughout the entire academic year (14 classes in Fall 2024 and 16 classes in Spring 2025 semester). Registration confirms your student’s spot for the year-long course. Give your child a well-rounded review and application of phonics with this class. Students will learn the phonics concepts vital to the mastery of reading skills. Each phonics element will be systematically reviewed and practiced using activities such as marking vowels and circling suffixes, completing sentences, filling in missing letters, matching rhyming words, solving puzzles and riddles, and more. Students will work through Abeka Letters and Sounds- 1 student workbooks. This book helps students solidify the special sounds and vowel concepts.
Prerequisite: Students must be familiar with short vowel sounds and consonant sounds. For beginners or younger students without prior exposure to letter sounds, please consider my Abeka Phonics I class.
